Our Story
Smout’s Waste Management is a local waste management company based in Redditch, Worcestershire, providing reliable and straightforward waste services for households, communities and businesses. We specialise in household waste removal and commercial waste services, offering a friendly and no-nonsense approach to responsible waste disposal.
The business was founded by Zac Smout with the aim of building more than just a waste removal service. From the beginning, the goal was to create a recognisable local brand and a business that people could genuinely rely on. Before starting Smout’s Waste Management, Zac gained experience in roles where planning, safety and accountability were part of everyday work. With a background in engineering and leadership, including experience in industries such as aerospace and heavy lift and haulage, this has shaped a practical and organised approach to running the business while keeping the service personal, hands-on and easy to deal with.
Today, Smout’s Waste Management works with both the general public and commercial clients, handling everything from domestic waste clearances to ongoing business waste management requirements. As a licensed waste carrier, we take responsibility for the waste we collect and manage it through appropriate disposal routes. No matter the size of the job, the focus is on clear communication, reliable service and leaving every site clean and tidy.
Since starting the business, Smout’s Waste Management has continued to grow through recommendations, repeat customers and a strong focus on doing the basics well.
