General Waste Removal Questions

Where availability allows, we can offer same day and short notice waste removal services.

No, you do not always need to be home during your collection.

We offer unattended collections where suitable, and many customers leave a side gate open or provide access instructions so we can safely access and load the waste.


The cost of rubbish removal depends on several factors, including the amount and type of waste, access, loading requirements and disposal costs. Every job is different, so we provide quotes based on the specific details of your waste removal requirements.


We price jobs based on factors such as the type of waste, volume, labour required, access and disposal fees. Different waste types have different disposal costs. For example, mixed general waste, wood, garden waste, rubble and other materials can all have different processing and disposal charges.

As a licensed waste carrier, we cannot use normal household recycling centres like members of the public. We use approved waste facilities and pay the relevant disposal fees to ensure waste is handled correctly.


Where possible, waste is sorted and recycled through appropriate facilities. We aim to reduce the amount of waste sent for disposal by ensuring materials are handled through the correct waste streams wherever possible.


Yes, we collect and remove both domestic and commercial fridges and freezers. Our service covers the safe disposal of commercial refrigeration equipment, including commercial fridge units, beer remotes, and other refrigeration systems.


POPs waste refers to certain items containing persistent organic pollutants, which require specialist disposal. Common examples include upholstered furniture such as sofas, armchairs and some mattresses. These items cannot always be treated like normal waste, which is why additional disposal requirements and charges may apply.


Some items have higher disposal costs due to the way they need to be processed.

Examples include POPs waste, mattresses, fridges, freezers and other premium items.

Any additional charges will always be explained clearly before the job begins.
